Confidentiality
What you share in counselling is private, with some important limits. I will explain these clearly before we begin, including if there is a serious risk of harm, safeguarding concerns, legal obligation, or where information is discussed in supervision as part of ethical practice.

Privacy and data
I keep personal information only as needed for providing counselling and meeting legal and ethical responsibilities.

Working agreement
This covers practical things like session length, payment, cancellations, online working, contact between sessions and how we review the work together.

Complaints
As a BACP member, I work to the BACP Ethical Framework and clients have access to a formal complaints process if needed.
